Heath Murphy is an associate attorney at Jones Law Group and has represented clients engaged in litigation in state and federal courts throughout Florida, as well as having successfully represented numerous clients in their claims against BP Oil relating to the 2010 Deepwater Horizon Oil Spill.
Prior to joining Jones Law Group, as an associate attorney in 2010, Heath was a law clerk at the firm for several years where he was taught litigation tactics and assisted in several trials and mediations. Mr. Murphy’s practice areas include personal injury, wage and overtime claims, employment law and harassment, construction and commercial litigation, general civil litigation and BP Claim representation.
Prior to attending The University of Memphis Law School, Heath was a successful restaurant and bar manager. It was during his career in this industry that Heath began to want to pursue a legal career and sacrificed an already successful career to finish his education and become an attorney. Heath brought his customer service oriented approach to his practice of law and strives to go the extra mile with each of his clients. Heath lives in Seminole, Florida with his daughter and two labs.

Heath served on the University of Memphis Moot Court Board from 2005 to 2006. He was also on the National Mock Trial Team in 2005 & 2006. While at the University of Memphis Law School, Heath also received the Cali Award of Excellence in Trial Advocacy.
